Moving with furry ones

What to do if you have pets?

Our movers are trained to work with these little cuties around.  Here are some tips to make it less stressful for your little loved ones.

  1. Have treats handy for our movers so that your pets can familiarize themselves with them before they start their job. This will ease any tension your pets may have and allow our movers to work faster and uninterrupted.
  2. You don’t need to put them in a room as this may upset them. Perhaps have someone dedicated to taking care of them for the duration of the move (a child, grandparent, neighbour or friend) to entertain them.
  3. Make sure their food, water and toys are not packed up that day.
  4. Driving with your pets to the next house? They will need some space in the back seat so don’t cram it too much.
  5. Alternatively – drop your pets off at a trusted friends house for the day.
